Cadence began in 1998 in a converted basement with a single ribbon microphone and an open door. The idea was simple and has not changed: put great players in a good room, roll tape, and stay out of the way. We master to lacquer, we credit every musician on the sleeve, and we license our catalogue on terms an artist can actually read. Twenty-eight years and eighty-one titles later, the door is still open and the invitation still stands.
