Juniper Academy

Ages 11 to 18 · Sixty students a year

Small classes. Serious work.

Twelve to a class, teachers who stay for years, and a programme built on doing real work rather than rehearsing for tests. School the size it should be.

We teach students, not subjects.

Every teacher here knows every student's name by October. We keep the school small on purpose: small enough that nobody disappears in the middle of the room, small enough that a teacher notices the week before a problem becomes one. The work is harder than most schools ask for, and the support is closer. Those two things only sound like opposites.

What it costs, plainly.

$14,800per year, everything included

A third of our students receive aid, from 20% to full. The aid conversation happens before the admissions decision, never after, so no family falls in love with a place they cannot have.
